Trees and Development
During development, trees are managed under Australian Standard AS4970-2009 - Trees on Development Sites. Whether you’re submitting a development application (DA) or building under the complying development code (CDC), this is the standard that applies.
Local Governments in Sydney will also have specific controls in their Development Control Plan that will apply to the trees on your site.
